YOGA for back aches and pains

One way to combat the terrible effects of this modern day lifestyle is Yoga.

Well, you may have heard this phrase “sitting is the new smoking”. In this day and age where we spend hours at a desk or sitting infant of a computer or perhaps just slouching on a couch and netflixing, it can have adverse effects on your overall health and joints [especially your lower back].

 One way to combat the terrible effects of this modern day lifestyle is Yoga.

 I have been a victim of backspin ever since I became a mother. But practicing some asanas daily have not only helped me with the back pain issues but also made me strong inside out. So here are a few back strengthening exercises which you can include into your daily practices -

1.    Cat-cow

2.    Puppy pose

3.    Cobra pose

4.    Locust pose

This can be followed by child’s pose which is a great counter posse to all the above mentioned asanas.
